I paid off most of my bills with the backpay but still have 2 CCS to pay off. As long as I don't have a car or house payment,I should be ok. I never received a COLA when I worked and the last job I worked, there was probably never going too be another raise so having a SSDI COLA is all good for me and everyone else. Most of the COLA money would probably go right back into the economy.

ssdi is a disability insurance policy. the premiums are paid by payroll taxes, half from you and half from your employer unless you are self employed or a consultant. its not a helping hand or welfare program. contrary what some politicans think its not an entitlement program.
