Well here is a little good news anyway, hopefully other banks follow in their footsteps.
Bank of America is halting foreclosure sales in all 50 states as part of a widening investigation into flaws in the process, the company announced Friday. http://money.cnn.com/2010/10/08/real...nk_america_50/ |

Sephiro,
I'm in Maryland, up in Ellicott City (by Columbia) in Howard County. Kids are gone off to college, was concerned about DH's ability to meet my needs and did some preliminary search for housing in MD. By Googling Assisted living in MD, got some info and groups that help. E-mailed one group, never got reply but had stopped search. My preliminary sketchy search told me there is stuff out there, but less than those who want it and you have to work or have a real advocate to get it. Good luck! .

This is what happened recently in Georgia when residents were offered an application and a chance at section 8 housing. From what I heard they haven't offered any applications since 2001. What a mess.
