Date of onset for disability is a combination of the date your medical condition first began to bother you (birth) and the date it stopped you from being able to work. For some people those dates are the same. For others, they are way different.

For SSI, date of onset of disability is only as of the date of application.

Since you are deaf, you have been found disabled. It is a slam dunk. Do you intend to return to work?
