According to the SSA website (http://www.ssa.gov/dibplan/dqualify5.htm)

If you are working in 2010 and your earnings average more than $1,000 a month, you generally cannot be considered disabled.

If you are not working, we go to Step 2.

So it sounds like you will only qualify for SSDI if you are making less than $1000 a month. I am not sure how much you make a month... are you working full time or part time? I'd suggest going to the website I listed up at the top and working through the steps. If you make more than $1000/month, then you wouldn't qualify, unless there is a special circumstance such as using the work incentives, which can be found here: http://www.ssa.gov/pubs/10095.html

My name is Sarah and I am 25 years old. I have a lot of chronic health problems. Peripheral neuropathy and POTS (postural orthostatic tachycardia syndrome) keep me bedridden the majority of the time. I also struggle with degenerative disc disease, disc desiccation, spondylolisthesis, arthritis, polycystic ovarian syndrome (PCOS) with insulin resistance, allergies, sound sensitivities, and other health problems.
