Does anyone know if a children (all under 18yr old) can collect survivor benefits from the non-custodial parent in the event they die?

I mean in additon to the SSDI benefits they received from me (custodal parent) if the non-custodal parent that pays child support dies, can they collect SSDI benefits from me AND Social Security Survivor Benefits from their father.

There is a formula for a combined family maximum if both parents are deceased, disabled or retired. It is not provided in your Social Security Statement and has to be computed by your local office.
