My wife received her SSDI award letter around 3 weeks after her approval from the SS judge which was on Nov. 2. She still has not received any money yet but should on Jan 26. From my experience and from much of what I've read the whole process after approval takes around 3 months. But it is not etched in stone.

In Florida they say 4 to 6 weeks. They have been pretty consistent, with that time for many years.

I got mine within the 30-60 day time frame. I got my backpay pretty quickly..maybe a month after I was awarded benifits.
Congrats and good luck! |
