I have a call into one attorney, who has helped a friend win her case. The strain on myself is so counter-productive to healing, any words of wisdom on that? I've moved in with my mother 9 months after the fall (in May) because I could no longer support myself. She is 71 years old... too old to be worrying about her 43 year old daughter!!!! I still cannot drive. The level of medical care is below minimal, almost none really. I haven't been able to see a neurologist since March, due to my move. I moved from a larger SoCal city to the Palm Springs area.
I can't believe it's taken me this long to allow myself to find this forum and ask for some help.....
Thanks!

Hi Sunshine.....

It sounds like you're in a really rough spot right now.

Can you get back to see the neurologist you did or are you now searching for a new one closer to you in PS ?

They are in pain and need to see their doctor, what can be done? All these questions seem to be addressed to me all the time. Unfortunately I cannot always answer their questions, so I'm hoping everyone who has questions and positive answers come together on this thread and maybe we can help each other.

I'm looking for positive feedback, I know sometimes there is not a whole lot that can be done, but lets do out best for the ones who are waiting and need someone to talk to and give them a positive outlook even if it is just for enough time to give them a good nights rests, or even a good afternoon. So to all of you out there with a pending case, this thread is for you.

I am also going to start a thread at the "social chat" on this site.
I have a question is a 15 minute hearing in front of the ALJ a good or bad thing?

It's ridiculous, you wait a year for a 15 minute hearing, I guess it's good.

Time is not an indicator of approval or denial.

I agree and it scares me that maybe I didn't say enough or maybe the judge believed me and I don't have to worry. Then of coarse I came home and Googled it and most sites said it is a good thing but who knows.

Try to look at it like the 'facts' of your medical records have already been presented. There's no need to rehash everything in front of the judge. A few minutes should be enough to stress your major points.

I hope this works out well for you.....fingers crossed
