Good thing he has a disabled child to support him then... Sad fact is that this is not the only family who gets a better life because there is SSI for one child. SSI is supposed to benefit the child and in some cases, it becomes a way of supporting bummy parents.

If he did get a job ,they would lose their food stamps(bridge card). This is where the system is wrong. By not working(but you gotta have kids-single people can't benefit by being poor),the government will supply you with food.
