Cool how to get new wheelchair payed for

Hello everyone im new to this site i dont know where to turn for questions or anwsers i was denied a regular ultralight wheelchair through medicare, im a t5 parapalegic and in need of a new ultra lightweight wheelchair, i have been using the same chair now for the past 10yrs and, i guess medicare has changed the rules, they dont think i qualify for an ultralight chair but they had know problems paying for the last two, i liked to say that even though they changed there rules it doesnt mean that my level of injury has changed and for that matter people shuold still be intitled to a chair that supports what they need and, im not even asking for a power chair the i need is only $1,900 that isnt much when you get only one chair every 5yrs, so if anyone knows of any foundations that would help me buy the chair i need please leave me a message here and i will check every now and then i just want to say thank you and anything at this point i would be extremely grateful , feed back , answers etc. thanx again for your support. David

Perhaps the regular ultralight wheelchair vendor and your doctor can intervene on your behalf with Medicare.
