Thanks for many other ideas listed. Also you may want to just ask around at places. For example when I was just at my dentist I got an extra 10% off just for asking if they had any deductions allowed for those on Social Security Disability.

You have to provide proof/documents that you are disabled to the 401k withdrawal paperwork in order to be waived from paying the penalty for early withdrawal. At least that is what I had to do.

I did not read the first page so if this has been brought up I am sorry. But here in Indiana if you take your awards letters to the county office they reduce your property taxes by 20%. Instead of paying 1,000 in property taxes we now pay $800. Every little bit helps.
