Last week my SSDI examiner told me one visit to my PCP was missing from my application. I had submitted over 600 pages of medical records. She told me if I could get a copy of that record to call her and she would supply me with a barcode so that I could fax the record to her. Today I called to get the barcode and I was told that a decision has been made and that a physician had already reviewed the decision of the examiner and that my case might go to Quality Review.
I was confused and asked her if she had received the missing record from the doctor. She indicated that she had not but that she didn't need it to make her decision. The examiner was not allowed to tell me her decision. I am still confused. If my case goes to Quality Review how long does it take? If it does not go to quality review does that mean that I have probably been denied? Feedback would very much be appreciated to lower my anxiety level. Thanks! |

Actually its my husband. But they now gave us a Sept 2011 date. They-SSA have said due to his age 42 they need to look into a few things( whatever that means) and we will get a decision by mid Sept. I hope!!!
