You are really a big help to me and giving me the courage to just go for it!

Thank you very much

Those with disabilities & seniors are not required to do essays. However, it is an option yet, will not affect the decision when the scholarships are given out.

Also, the monies given out for grants & scholarships for the disabled/seniors are set apart from the "other folks." We don't have to worry about "already been awarded to others who filed earlier." No deadlines. :D

Another resources for your state/county to check into are:
Disability Rights
Higher Education Disability Support Directory
Association on Higher Education And Disability
Support Groups for your disability - A wealth of info can be obtained from them.

Thank You, Thank You, Thank You!

I wish I would have asked these questions on here a couple of months ago but as the saying goes....Better late than never. :)

Thats wonderful that the grants and scholarships in your state for the disabled are grouped together with the elderly and also with no essays and NO DEADLINES. Maybe I'll be lucky and find out that we have similiar programs in my state once I make some phone calls.

Big hugs to you Mz. Migraine
