Got your message and I check in every once and awhile. My husband is still waiting to see a specialist that either will do his surgery on his hand or not he has been approved for a program here that the doctor provides his services free of charge. As you know my husband has a massive blood clot in his leg with no blood flow whatsoever along with his hand -Torn ligament -he has already had surgery on his hand a few yrs ago they wanted to fuse his wrist to his hand then. Now we are just waiting for this program to get him an appointment whenever that will be your guess is as good as ours-in the meantime he gets no pain meds because he goes to the Health Dept here as all we r living on is my little disability check-I had a stroke!! And they do not prescibe no pain meds- I feel so sorry for him- We have been at this ssdi process it will be 1 year August 4th.-We do have an attorney but when ssdi gets ready they will decide. Heres hoping you are ok and best wishes to you and everyone else I know this process takes awhile it took me 2 years to get mine. So if it comes before that we will feel blessed!!!

hey havent heard from you in a whilethanks for the update and response.i still see that the "Feds"are still making it hard for people who worked and earned their benefits. i took the advice of some of our member here and wrote my "senator"for help.will he be able to get it for me who knows but he can help step up the process.i had the "VA" do all the paper work for me.it was all in the same office/building,just different floors.im on my 3rd year now.i have nothing to live off of.no unemployment checks,workman comp,ssd..nothing its why i went to my senator.but god bless you miss and your spouse and everyone else here to

I am sorry you havent been approved yet do u have a lawyer??? I would have him call and check on your case-Did you check with united way and salvation army they can help you and have you applied for food stamps?? I don't know what state you live in but you could check with churchs etc and they can give u leads to help May God Bless you and all of us disabled people.

I will tell you like I told my hubby hang in there-But what options do we have-All we can do is wait on this system to see our case asap-lol-All I know is my husband can't work and all we can do is wait-We are at there Mercy!!!

yes as a matter of fact i got a call last month from my lawyer.he told me to go back to the "SS"and reapply.also a week before i went there i went to my "senator"and asked him for help.i told him my plight.his office is/was very helpful.do i expect miracles from either one..no only from jesus .he will never let you down.only man is capable of that
