according to the national taxpayers union, an anti tax group, the top 10% of people in this country pay actually 71% of the taxes. However they also control 93% of the wealth. The bottom 80% pay 16% of the taxes but have only 7% of the wealth. Draw your own conclusions on who is paying their fair share.
