Default approved for "SSDI"but my case is still open!

since i got approved in august for "ssdi"in august.i calle my lawyer office last week to see if my case(appeal)is still open.they said it was.should i call them and let them know that i was approvedi mean would it make any difference

They probably already know as they were paid by SS from a portion of your benefits.

If you was approved for SSD it doesn't matter. They will just begin your benefits. You may let your lawyer know that you have been approved so he stops working on it.

this month i did finallly called my lawyer.and let him know i was approved for my "SSDI"..the reason he told me why they didnt notify him was that i did it on my own.this was my second attempt and i won,the first time i was denied.and thats the case that is still being appealed.obiviously for back pay from when i got hurt(2008),
