Here's a simple question. If a person, born in 1947 and on disability, turns 65 this year, is THIS the year that he would have been retired and go on Social Security?
Alan just said "no, it's when you turn 66, that the disability converts into regular Social Security" I think it's when you turn 65. Is he correct? The reason I ask is that he turns 65 in June and the mail just came and he got this card that says "Welcome to Medicare, there are things you should know this year" I took that to mean that when Alan turns 65, his disability converts to Social Security. Thanks much Melody
