Default remand hearing over

We had the remand hearing today, well it went just as good as the last one. The only problem was the dr that ss sent me to said I could do just about anything. Believe me when I tell you he did not spend more than five min. with me.he did not have any of my medical records, never ask me anything about my triple spinal fusion, I dont believe he knew I had one. I did tell him I am unable to tie my own shoes, he stated I could CRAWL?????? un ****ing believeable. My lawyer did tell me we have a case to win. We had three other dr 's and therapist tell the complete oposite. Now if the judge with the 7% approval rating rules in my favor. What a ****ed up life. sorry about swearing.

Wouldn't you love to get a session to ask that doc what the heck he is thinking ?

I'm going to go out on a limb here and guess that the body parts that don't do what you need them to do so you can tie your shoes just might not work well to help you crawl.

If this process wasn't so integral to your future and financial survival, it would be 'fun' to try to play back at that doc......"Your honor, based on Doctor X's philosophy that I should be able to work even though I can't bend over, I have found a private duty nurse that will dump me on the floor so I can crawl around all day, but, unfortunately, I still can't find a job that will hire me if I can't wear shoes and have to crawl."

Very sorry to hear this. The system right now is screwed up. Because of the bad economy there has been an overflow of people attempting to get on SSD over the last few years.. SSA therefore, unfortunately, with their overload and their attempts to tame the increase in rolls, might be more quick to rush to judgement on folks who truly are disabled.
