I have been denied after the ALJ hearing, but one of the many things surprising me in my denial letter is how a Dr. who I never saw or met discusses how I'm not disabled. How can this be allowed? I explained this in my letter to the appeals board but they've ignored everything I showed of not having a fair trial. Now, as I've stated earlier, I worry daily about having my case all over the internet. This isn't fair or right, I still can't find an attorney who knows what to do which is even more frustrating. I would be more than happy to pay out a lot of money to keep my case private. My god, it's all I ask now. Still can't get over how they allow a doctor to claim he saw me & not have to show any proof of it. Has anyone else had a doctor lie and claim he saw you.

In the case of Work Comp, they use hired guns to deny everything--procedures, meds, the fact that a patient has a health concern at all--and unfortunately, those "reports" from docs that have never seen the patient, but only reviewed records, is then sent to Social Security. It can make approval an uphill battle. I'm sure there are other examples like this. It is important for the applicant to provide overwhelming evidence of a severe disability by clear medical documentation.

Mine isn't a work comp case, but nevertheless, the same principal applies of making up I saw a doctor. I can't believe this is allowed, but then again I guess I can believe anything now. Sometimes I believe some people aren't granted a fair hearing, and once that happens it's the end regardless of how much evidence is shown. I think some lawyers are so bad they actually cause a person to lose by not making sure they're fully prepared. If I had it do all over again, I wouldn't have bothered applying if I'd been warned my case would be put all over the internet. I'm suicidal over it & not many understand why which is even more amazing. I guess a lot of people don't mind their personal case in it's entirety allowed to be placed on the world wide web even without their permission. If they didn't use my real name I wouldn't mind. I feel nothing but shame & remorse for being disabled & daring to apply for my entitlement. I wish it were true what the judge said how I have no disabilities.

SSDI is allowed to use any doctor they choose whether or not they have examined you. Are you sure the documentation says "saw the patient" or "after review of the files"?

AS for your file on the web, how did it get on the web? A lawyer would not put a losing case on the web nor would SSDI.

The social security office is allowing a place called Find a case & many others to post cases lost after the hearings. These places can't post this stuff if social security isn't allowing it. I hope I can post the names of the places, I feel it's necessary because most people think I'm making this up. It doesn't bother most people their cases will be put on the internet, I guess I'm unusual, I prefer to keep things like this private. My case is very delicate and will hurt innocent members of my family; that's the part I think is the most unfair. If you want me to send you the actual links and a copy of an email sent back to me regarding this I would glad to do so. I tried to post a link on here & it's not allowed.
