this is a social security listing of impairments that might help you in filling out the form and what they are looking for

Husband has muscle-skeletal issues in which he filed for SSDI, got rejected first time now waiting for ALJ hearing. How does anyone get approved under their requirements for mobility, walking, going to the store, bank with assistance? Walking without a cane or walker? Not be able to drive? This is confusing. I know many folks who got SSDI but don't need a cane, walker, can drive, go to the store, etc....In reading the URL you provided, how do these folks get approved?

Those folks here that got approved, do you walk, drive, go to the store by yourself? Just dis-heartening after reading the URL....

i can drive myself and walk without a cane.but i guess..only guessing.it depends on what my disability is.my is in my neck and shoulder.and i came from "construction".so now i cant do that kind of work any longer.of course.plus my age and education level was what they also used as a considering factor for me getting my "SSDI"
