The issue is how to help those who qualify for SSDI or SSI get the benfits they deserve.

An observation about hearing
At my hearing, I had waited in the room next to the court for about an hour. Very distressed. In the hearing I noticed the placement of the people who represented the state sat at one side, and the judge in front. I have cerivical issues. I had to move my whole body toward the states people when they asked me some questions. My head was not turning well at all. That was noticed. Also I do walk with a limp, though not with a cane. I think all those things were noticed by the judge. I had personal letters from my physicians above what was required by the judge for submission. I think they do look at everything. ginnie

"almost like its more about you rather than the issue at hand, no one said anything about faking it. As far as alj discrimination, just google Quuens,Ny, and you will see how real it is."
"The issue is how to help those who qualify for SSDI or SSI get the benfits they deserve." "Is it your job or mines?" The purpose of this subforum on NT is to support those with issues related to SSDI and SSI. In most threads on here, the specific focus has been about how to help those who qualify for SSDI or SSI get the benfits they deserve. This thread is about that. My focus is to help with that goal. It's not my job, because unfortunately, I am unable to work. I did learn a lot during my long struggle for SSDI approval. I've also learned a lot about medical documentation during my over 20 years in the field. I want to help others avoid some common mistakes that may be delaying their approval. That's not "about" me. I have my approval I cannot speak as to what your job or goal is. I have seen many of your posts complaining about "biased ALJ's" I haven't seen any of your posts that give helpful advice for how to evaluate and improve an application IF that MIGHT be the problem. I have only seen the ones that ASSUME that ANY denial can ONLY be because of a biased system. You may have opinions about the system because of your case. Directly stating and/or implying someone else's case MUST have the same issues as your's, sounds like you are making it about you. We don't have to agree on any of these issues, but it's best not to disrupt a thread. I would prefer if, in the future, you do not quote my posts and add what I view to be sarcastic replies. |
It seems there is some tension happening here on this thread, so I am going to lock it for a few days so all can cool down.

If there are particular members that bother you and you do not want to see their posts or receive Private Messages and Emails from them, then you can add these members to your 'Ignore List'. There are several ways to do this: Through your User Control Panel: User CP, Settings & Options, Edit Ignore List. Then, click on their name and choose: User List, Add to Ignore List What if I see something offensive? You will find 'Report' links in many places throughout the board. These links allow you to alert the board staff to anything which you find to be offensive, objectionable or illegal.] http://neurotalk.psychcentral.com/fa...ublesome_users |
