Default what to do no income

Right now I have applied and I have an attorney who don't call me back when I call him. When I applied, I knew I had a retirement fund but didn't have the password, it took time to get that. I had no idea how much was there, it was through work that had let me go and I didn't know if I still had access to the money. Now its squared away. I need to call and report this change to welfare and My attorney. Will I have to cash this out? I am 49, and cant get the money with out a penalty. Yes I should have been better informed. When I applied for disability, they questioned me about this and I said I have a retirement fund just that I don't know what kind or if I still could get the money. I also told my DHS worker that I had the fund. But she didn't write it down in the paper work. Now I am afraid I will get in trouble.

alsoI have no income and I am living with my childrens dad and my son who are both disabled as well, so not much money to help me out. I was approved for food stamps and adult waiver for meds. How do people get by with no cash while waiting for ssi or ssd? It would be nice to have my own place, but I don't know how to pay the electric and gas. Plus what ever a person needs, like TP and shampoo and meds. I am thank ful for the help, meds were very expensive and now Its just a dollar to refill. but I don't have the dollars even,I have to rely on my ex
My DHS says there is no state disability in Michigan
