Default need help for my Friend on her SSI she has MPD and is Bipolar please help

Ok so Leann received a letter from social security saying her case was up for review she has been long term Bipolar and MPD she also suffers from extreme stress and Anxiety and she filled it out and sent it back and received yet another letter stating they need further information to make a decision given the nature of her condition- what is the likelihood of them taking away her SSI benefits and if theres an actual substantial risk what measures can she take to ensure this doesn't occur she has no other source of income and is very worried at this point thanks in advance
