Default Social Security Form - need help

Hello,
I'm trying to help my older disabled friend get the additional help she's needs - I know she can apply for an additional $1500.00 per month thru SS to help her pay for an aid. Does anyone know the form number? I would love to download it for her - so she can take it to her doctor and start the process......THX

That's usually offered through state programs if someone qualifies for Medicaid I believe.

Default Hi Lit Love

I cannot take care of my home without help. Right now some people from church give a hand for those things I physically cannot do. How do I start this process?. I do need an aid at times and I didn't know it was available to me. I thought about a villa where the care starts on your own, then moves up. Don't know if I would have enough money from the sale of my home to get into one of those places. Therefor, maybe with some help I could survive here a bit longer. ginnie

Dialing 211 is one way to find out about local social services. I'm not familiar with what FL offers, if anything. There are also links available from the Catch 22 sticky. If you already qualify for Medicaid, you could call your county Social Services line.
