Default Update.

Called local office. They said the last thing she had was my hearing date. My lawyer said it was still in editing. Myssa is still showing not available in the benefit section. It has been69 days since my hearing and 31 since it went to the decision writers, where it still is. I wonder if thats a good sign?

Default Need reassurance.

Hello. I'm wigging out. My hearing was Nov.19, 2013. My file was left open for almost 5 weeks. On the 20th of Dec., it was at the decision writers. It has been 63 days since my hearing, and about 34, since it went to underwriting. Im really am feeling like a denial is brooding. I can'f figure out whats taking so long. If you have read my previous post, it tells my story. Everything is so stressing me out, just need somebodies opinión.

There is no way to know. The timeframe is not unusual.

I'm sorry to hear that this is taking so long, grandma. We all "get" how frustrating the waiting is.

I don't think you can attribute anything positive or negative with the fact that getting the decision written up is taking so long.

I'd try to focus on what you said happened at your hearing with the judge asking you to change your onset date. That is positive sounding.....hang onto that hope while you suffer through the wait.

Hang in there !

What is a post hearing review? Can the ALJ, change his initial ruling as far as onset date, and when I became disabled. My attys secretary said she had never heard of that once he made his decision. She did say she had sent in to the judge. When I called Monday decision writers sent it to the judge. Has anyone had this happen to them?
