OP, all things being equal, your experience with the process thus far is not newsworthy, at least IMO. The whole point of having help with the process is, at least in theory, to make sure that no balls get dropped along the way. As Janke has posted previously, at this point, it likely makes more sense to file initially online and upload all attachments to ensure a timely filing.
Also, many of those applying for SSDI/SSI benefits have serious psych issues--and these aren't always disclosed in the initial application. SS employees should be cautious about there personal info.
