I'm hoping one of my fellow banged up Canadians can help me with some questions. As a brain injury patient, I find the whole thing complicated, confusing and overwhelming.
Can I claim the Federal Disability Tax Credit without collecting a provincial disability pension? God knows I'm a (well-documented) wreck, but, having litigated an MVA, I just can't face the fight it would take to get the pension. I've also spent most of my working life abroad, so, even if I'm still eligible, I'm thinking my benefits would be a pittance. |
