I know you want more than my puny response, but it just means the written decision is not yet final or complete.

I did not have a VE at my hearing yesterday either.

I did have one at my first ALJ hearing and it was determined that there were no jobs that I could do but I was still denied.

I have no idea whether it is a good or bad sign that no VE was in attendance.
Wish I did.

Maybe someone will have some insight into that.

I am now waiting also. It is very stressful. As if the hearing was not bad enough. LOL!

Generally, its always a bad thing the longer the wait for notification, denials take much longer to prepare than do fully favorable decisions. When I won my hearing recently on a bench decision, I had the ALJ's fully favorable decision in hand via the US mail in seven days! At my previous pair of ALJ hearings it required ninty days & sixty five days respectively to be notified of the unfavorable decisions.

Its tough to be sure, my win came after ten years of denials, ten years!!! You can lose everything in the process and there is never any certainty. I know this, I would have been very challenged to have survived such a wait again, and the painful truth is, most folks will never win. You should automatically file the AC appeal & if this is your first attempt open a new claim at the same time if you haven't shot by your date last insured.
