I have been waiting for 11 weeks no answer from the ALJ, is that good or bad I was told by the ALJ at the hearing that I did good and he told my representative if he needs anything else he will let her know.The only thing he ask me was why did I leave my job

I don't know if its good or bad. My hearing was 3/4. So I'm in the same boat as you.
This waiting is horrible, that's all I do know! Wish I had some better input!

SsA never ask me to see their doctor, nor did the ALJ is this normal it has been 1 year and 8 months since the beginning to now, I have had two denial and now waiting on the ALJ decision.

To both posters who asked if their situation is normal; yes it is which means it is neither good nor bad, or at least you and we have no way of knowing whether it is good or bad.
However, you should probably check directly with the ALJ office to be sure that your understanding of your status is correct. |

I call ssa today, they said my claim is still in writing, it has been 87 days as of today 6_12_2014
|

I did have one at my first ALJ hearing and it was determined that there were no jobs that I could do but I was still denied.  I have no idea whether it is a good or bad sign that no VE was in attendance. Wish I did. Maybe someone will have some insight into that. I am now waiting also. It is very stressful. As if the hearing was not bad enough. LOL!

Brain patch. . Had MVA in 2006 resulting in post concussive syndrome manifested by cognitive impairment, chronic pain/ fatigue. Chronic pain of head, neck, back, left leg. Other problems include REM sleep behavior disorder, nocturnal frontal lobe epilepsy, chronic migraines associated with nausea/vertigo, episodes of passing out, hypoglycemia, liver dysfunction (had accidental overdose of acetaminophen in 2009) had liver and kidney failure, hernia, degenerative disc disease with compression of nerve root, PTSD, and other problems associated with functioning problems from traumatic brain injury (light, sound sensitive, easily overloaded, easily distracted, cannot focus, anxiety problems etc.) |
