So i had my hearing yesterday with my attorney in my corner and the VE, ME and the ALJ on the state side. Overall i feel it went well but i do not want to be to hopeful. Not only do i have lumbar issues (protruding discs and disc degeneration) but i suffer from PTSD, Intermittent explosive disorder, bi-polar and generalized anxiety. My last job i walked out on while in the middle of experiencing a sever panic attack. The issue is im 15 months into recovering from alchohol and the ME basically made it sound like i am an addict and dont have mental illness. Also while incarcerated in 2010/2011 i was put on meds, but had no health coverage upon release..So i stopped with the meds once released and wound up battling with relapse. Well according to this ME, that has more weight to my medical history than the fact i have been fighting mental illness since 17 (was on zanex and zoloft for depression and anxiety).

The VE on the other hand said due to my inability to cope with workplace demands, i cannot work any jobs at this time which was a surprise to me. I Answered some questions about my paranoia and panic attacks as well as how my issues affect work. And also the my lawyer closed with questions about my limits due to my anger and instability issues and that was it. The judge smiled and said it was nice to meet you today and we were off record...

I dont know what to expect because this SSDI system is so flaky to us people who legit have disabilities yet i am confident because i know my self, and also my medical records hold up everything i stated i go through...I hope and pray that this works in my favor....
