Hi Everyone-
I'm new here and I'm hoping someone can help me feel better. I applied for SSDI back in April and this past Wednesday I received a letter saying that I was found medically disabled, but now I have to wait for a second letter stating that I meet the non medical qualifications. I know I have enough work credits, so I really hope this is just about the work credits. Has anyone else gotten this first letter and had to wait for the second letter? My letter also stated that my disability began on 3/29/13 and my eligibility for benefits started on 9/01/13. I think this reflects the five month waiting period. Any information would be helpful. I just hate having to wait and I want to celebrate, but I won't be able to fully relax until I have that second letter in my hands. thanks for all of your help. Canswicky |
