To do a easy search using Firefox (other browsers may do this too) Pretty sure they do , I just checked Opera and it is very much the same..

I can highlight the words in a post or title or anywhere on a web page most of the time - then right click and the menu comes up with options.
one is "Search Google" or if you have another default search engine then that name may show on the list..

It will open another screen with a list of search results... viola..
