Your best bet would be to go into your local SS office. Take all your documents. Make copies & you keep the originals or vice versa. Prior to going write out a list of questions, concerns, etc. & take it w/you.
Only SS can advise you on how much you will get. GOOD LUCK!

Since Janke tends to post at night, I'll attempt to explain.
If you wait until your full retirement age you would receive $1191 per month. The amount equals half of your husband's benefit, but $509 would still be from your own disability benefit and $682 would come from your husbands. If you take it earlier, then you would apply the reductions listed in the link I provided. |
