Todays techonology is great, but it also sucks bigtime. Thats a big reason why i still just use a flip phone and not all these smart phone things. Am like a dinosaur, when people see the phone i use, lollllllll
My 26 year old niece told me the other day that I was still using the technology she had in the 3rd grade. She could not believe that I did not have a laptop, no wireless connections, etc.

Another casualty of being disabled. You lose the learning you picked up being in the work place, and also the funds to keep up with the newer technology.

I don't think you will ever find out why you were selected so soon. Could be a programming error. I am certain however that it has nothing to do with your decision to buy a house. SSDI does not have any access to that. And it has zero to do with a decision about whether or not you are disabled.

Fill out the form, make a copy, send it in and go about living your life the same way you did before. You need to also figure out how to not obsess over something you have no control over. May not be easy.

Thank you for the info Janke, its greatly appreciated. I guess am still upset about it coming back so soon, when i have such a low score.

Question about the question on the form that asks if you and your doctor have discussed if you can work. I had this talk with my surgeon way back when he discharged me. Hes written that am permanently disabled.
I guess what am asking is, does everybody ask this question, every time they see their doctors? Every time i get this form, that question always baffles me.

Echoes,
I re-read the link you posted in this thread and it appears that if you check you and your doctor havent talked if you can work doesnt hurt you. But then you have to wonder, is that what SS is telling us, so we wont be afraid to check that box.

I wonder how many just on this site have checked that box when they got this form.

I would just hate for that be the box, that kicks it out to the long form
