Default SSDI and inheritance?

I was told that if I got an inheritance it would affect my SSDI?....So it needs to be written up special, by an attorney?

I did a quick search and SSDI should not be affected.
will an inheritance affect my ssdi benefits - Google Search

SSI might be different..

SSDI is not effected as stated, SSI definitely is.
