Default Aging Out of SSDI

When you reach age 66 and no longer qualify for SSDI, do you have to do anything to maintain your Medicare or to begin receiving retirement Social Security?

It is automatic, no action needed on your part. They will notify you of the change.

Default Aging Out

So it's automatic for both Social Security retirement and Medicare? And they both will contact you without any action on your part? And there is no delay in Social Security payments or in Medicare coverage?
