Question SSD Holding Payments Over Comp Case

My attorney contacted me saying that the SS had contacted them to inform that they won’t release any payments to me until my Comp Case is final, I didn’t even get approved on my injury through Comp why would this matter? I got approved on my Parkinson’s plus the ALJ only went off my Parkinson’s diagnosis date on backpay..........

Thanks For Any Help
