No, that doesnt add up.....Talk to to your lawyer again.....There is the 80% rule, you cant make more than when you were working.

Your WC is 66.66% of your pay (tax free) then the amount that would be made up gets you to 80% of what you were making....

Sounds like its alot deeper than being explained to you....If SS overpays you they just take it back.....

Also strange that you have gotten a response from SS faster than comp? Alot of this just doesnt add up.....Get more info!
