Thumbs up Doing the 'happy' dance

Surprise, surprise, today I received a letter approving my disability!!!
I had applied in July 07 and in Jan 08 they sent me to a psychologist and a physiatrist. i.e. Rehab specialist
I figured I had at least a year of waiting to hear anything and miracles of miracles the letter arrived today!!

We were out arranging for delivery of my NEW car!!
DH decided my Land Rover was no longer dependable enough, so I got a GMC Envoy, which will hold my power chair or scooter without problems.

I'm still in semi shock, but so glad at least that stressor is gone.
I hope & pray everyone else gets their SSDI without too many hassles.

Wooo_hooo!

I lOVE reading posts when someone wins thier SSDI case. Congrats!

I too was COMPLETLEY shocked when I recieved my award letter. My case only took three months from start to finish. Lucky me, as I knew I was going to lose and have too appeal, get a lawyer etc. My heart goes out to everyone that has to go thru the horrible process of appealing.

Cool, very cool indeed.
