since my last post in this part of the forum. But life has been a little hectic, and almost insufferably bland at the same time, if that makes any sense whatsoever?
I got a call today from SSA, that has me extremely delighted ![]() ![]() ![]() First off the delightful. Today I recieved a call from my SSA caseworker telling me that my case had been approved and to set up a phone interview for tommorow to "finish up the file". She also said that they would be sending an envelope for hubby to mail in copies of his income from my filing date in October until the present. Second for the confusion. In all my reading and from the people I've talked to, I've not heard of them calling someone (to finish up a file) before actually receiving the "hardcopy" decidion in the mail. Is this something I should be wary of??? Or is it just a technicality that's just not mentioned anywhere I've read about? I'm filing in KY. Now for the embarrasment. I cant help feeling it, even though it might not be pertinent. But my heart so goes out, reading all the posts here who have struggled for so long and suffered so much, just to have to deal with denial after denial. You see, I applied in October, and four months later, I recieve my notice that approval has been made? I had honestly set myself up for at least a two year struggle. It's almost a guilt feeling that somehow I've cheated each and everyone of you out of benefits you so very much deserve. ![]() ![]() God Bless You All!!!! Dawn
