Hello, I am glad you received the help with agencies. I waited about two months for my check to arrive after I got the favorable outcome letter. It wasn't long. I did have a rep. working with me for benefits, so I don't know if that helped or not. It was not that long. Good luck to you. That waiting while you are hurting financially is difficult...ginnie

I just recieved my award letter today fully favorable so i still have to wait30 to 60 days to recieve a check. why does it take so long

My check as I said was pretty quick. Maybe it depends on how back logged your state is. It seems some get it very fast, others are waiting 6 months etc. I wish you all the best. ginnie

If you elected "direct deposit" you will get your $$$ very quickly. However, it will be up to you to check your banking account every week because you will NOT be notified of the "surprise" :D by SS at the time it is deposited.
