I'm at 6 months so I wouldn't get your hopes up with it arriving soon.

Default back pay

Hello, I am glad you received the help with agencies. I waited about two months for my check to arrive after I got the favorable outcome letter. It wasn't long. I did have a rep. working with me for benefits, so I don't know if that helped or not. It was not that long. Good luck to you. That waiting while you are hurting financially is difficult...ginnie

Default Re: maybe

My check as I said was pretty quick. Maybe it depends on how back logged your state is. It seems some get it very fast, others are waiting 6 months etc. I wish you all the best. ginnie

If you elected "direct deposit" you will get your $$$ very quickly. However, it will be up to you to check your banking account every week because you will NOT be notified of the "surprise" by SS at the time it is deposited.
