My husband just started receiving SS disability due to having RSD. Actually we received a check and a letter about a password before even receiving an award letter??!!

He believes that our three kids should be entitled to some award. Apparently he remembers getting something as a child when his mom was ill. I've looked on the ss website and don't see anything.

Anybody know?

yes they are if they are minors. put it in the youngest child's name though. they cut the others out at a certain age. congrats!

Yes they are entitled as his dependance be sure to contact SSA
My ex is receiving 605.00 from my account they do not concider that as a replacement for child support so she gets another 485 dollars out of my disability check, which leaves me 655 dollars a month to live on, it is a depressing subject.
