Are you under 50? Can you perform work that does not require you to lift over 20# and no reach overhead? If so the ALJ will probably deny your application.
Either way, you may want to consider the Vocatioal Rehabilitation office or whatever it is called in your state. They have money to retrain people to perform other than past work.
