My attorney already got paid by social security. They took it out already. Thanks though. I don't feel like they should be paid double. :) So there is no way I am taking it to my attorney. I will however, call them to let them know, so they can make sure I was paid the right amount (as they asked me to do). Social Security told me they were paid already and my attorney sent me a letter telling me they were paid. Also, yes I was told about SSD was by d.o.b. I know when my first one is to come. But they told me that my backpay check was already mailed out and then the second one in mid august sometime. She said one was mailed on July 30th. I hope she is right. I understand my regular pay will be by date of birth, which mine will come the second week of August.
