Confused mri results worse but dr thinks its better

I have been on light duty with part time hours for 4 years. this was because i had a disc bulge at the L3-4.
complained that i was in more pain with numbness and tingling in left leg, have fallen several times finally ordered new mri - this what it says-

at L3-4 there is minimal right and left lateral disc bulge but no focal protrusion. there is no significant effacement of the thecal sac.
there is moderate ligamentum flaven hypertrophy bilaterally which results in mild foraminal narrowing with no impingment on the left but on right there is impingment between disc and posterior element hypertrophy.

at L4-5 there is right paracentral disc bulge with mild spondylosis and a small left paracentral protrusion the latter extending intothe inferior neural foramen.
there is minimal effacement of the thecal sac across mid line.
there is moderate severe ligamentum flavum hpertrophy bilaterally which further compromises the spinal canal but there is no stenosis.
there is mild impingment of the right exiting nerve root on the left
there is almost certain impingment of the exiting nerve root by combination of disc protrusion, ligamentum flavum hypertrophy and pedicle.
at L5S1 small midline disc protrusion with right paracentral bulge there is direct contact with the the thecal sac at midline as well with both S1nerve orgins thereis contact but no definate impingment of the right exiting L5 root while there is probable of the exiting L5 root no spinal stenosis.

even the dr said there was a progression of injury. tried to explain my left leg keeps going numb that i have fallen because of this it hurts to drive using the pedals even going to bathroom is bad.
he then sent note to my job that instead of part time i could go back to full time.after being part time for 4 years and mri worse he thinks i can work full time. i see more than the one original bulging disc i started with and this supposed to be better

It doesn't look "better" to me, especially since the nerve roots are being compromised. That alone caused pain and numbness. Plus you have an additional disc that is bulging and compromising the spinal canal. I don't understand why he's putting you back to full time when he had you on part time with just the one disc. He either wasn't paying attention to what he was doing or he forgot what he read. You might ask him to re-read the mri report, and think it over again as to your work situation. Just my opinion.

best of luck and God bless. hugs, lee
