Does anyone have anything to share regarding late fusion--after a year? I'm almost exactly one year post fusion L3/4/5, and there's no fusion. My surgeon says it's a failed back, and he'd go in and do it again whenever I would want.
Nope. I've searched online and found that bone stimulators help after one year for 60%. But has anyone here fused late? Does anybody have suggestions about what helps late fusion? I refuse to be a failure without more of a fight.

I am sorry I don't have any info for you, but i had to reply anyway. I just respect you for your attitude of not giving up without a fight. That was refreshing to read.

I am with you...I would go for the bone stimualtor...I am shocked that your doc with his reputation did not use a stimulator...I am not convinced that I am fused...I have been told to ask now for a myleogram with contrast ....that will determine fusion...Other than that the only other way is to go in with a knife...no thank you...
I think too that I might start at a year with all new surgeons....Just might go with local guys or Philly guys ...Have not decided yet...I might try Cammissa too...His name keeps popping up
