Default Good News!!

I got good news yesterday! They have moved my ACDF surgery up from Feb. 28th to Feb. 14th! Finally seeing light at the end of the tunnel! (Hopefully it's not a train) anyway, the pain has been horrible lately, and I am looking forward to the relief. Not sure if anyone else gives a rip, but it's a big weight off for me. Not especially looking forward to the recovery, but..in the long run, it should work out well. Thought I'd let you know!
Be well,
Dave

Dave,
That is great news. However, I read one of your earlier posts regarding heavy lifting, and I highly suggest that you take at least 3 months to recover. I have 3 small children, and even though I do not lift them or anything heavy, I am in quite a bit of (burning) pain, just from general housework, cleaning, getting them dressed, etc. Take it slow!!

Dave-

You might want to go ahead and activate your movie channels, or get that video game system that you've been wanting. It will help the recovery time pass by more quickly.

Thanks Joe!
Already done that...plus, I am a WW11 history buff, and for Christmas in anticipation of recovery, my wife bought me several boxed sets of dvd's all pertaining to WW11. Well, tomorrow is the pre-op appointment, then surgery on the 14th...it's all over but the crying it looks like!
Thanks again for all the kind thoughts,
Dave
