What are your symptoms and where is the pain located - this might help us give better suggestions.
I'm not a expert at MRIs, but I can see that your c spine looks to be pretty straight - when it should have slight curve to it. {not a sideways curve like scoliosis - but a front/back curve} you can Google for images of normal spinal curves if you haven't heard of it before. Also is your one shoulder so much higher due to the scoliosis , or something else? Where the pain & symptoms are helps to locate what level of the spine might be the cause of the pain.

They told me I have a 36 degree curve and I have to go see a Neuro Surgeon. I am in constant pain and I am not multiple pain meds and using an electrical massage device. None of which are working. I have to go for a spinal epidural also in 2 weeks.

I saw the scoliosis curve.
I was meaning the side views -the curves look to be quite straight as compared to normal. here is info about it- http://www.spineuniverse.com/anatomy/spinal-curves You must have missed my questions. Is your one shoulder so much higher due to the scoliosis , or something else? What are your symptoms and where is the pain located? some scoliosis information- http://www.spineuniverse.com/conditions/scoliosis

Yes, Shoulder is due to scoliosis
Symptoms are Pain on the right side with the worst pain above shoulder blade to about a palms length below the shoulder blade. Pain level here is normally a 12 on a 1-10 scale. Numbing in the above area once pain reaches a 12 the rest of my right back side pain level is a 10. The pain feels like a squeezing aching pain and a pulling feeling as well. I also have pain in my hip on my right side when getting up from a laying or sitting position. I cannot put weight on my right leg because of the pain but it goes away quickly. I was told that my lower spine is fused so I am not sure if that is why I am having the hip pain. |

I know a teenager that had rotational scoliosis and they gave her a plastic molded wrap around brace that was supposed to slow down the curvature.
But unfortunately it didn't seem to help. Hers was advancing quickly so they eventually had to fuse 9 levels with rods and screws. She seems to be doing well 2 yrs later. How long have you had scoliosis? Did they try therapy and bracing already? I hope the neuro has some ideas for you. Oh, Did you get a copy of the MRI report with the film images? That would describe what the technician sees on the images. Most of it is in "Dr talk" but you can do a search of the words to figure out most of it.
