Hello,
I just joined this website today. I have had a VP Shunt all my life. I am 24. The last three years I have had something wrong with it and had to get it revised or a new one. These years I have been having problems sleeping. If I sleep anymore than 8 I get a headaches all day. I tried laying on thre pillows thinking it would help the pressure. No it didnt. So i am to one pillow and it doesnt help. I move side to side and on my back. Nothing helps. I cant sleep on my shunt side to long. I just want to be able to sleep and not worry if I am going to get to much sleep. I cant help that I am tired after work. |

Hello, I just thought I'd bump your post up and welcome you to our forums. There are some great, caring people around here. I usually hang out, at the Stumble Inn now. I lost my pain pump, along w/insurance. So I just read mostly. I take fiorinal for my headaches, good stuff, if you catch it right when it comes on. I also sleep upright sometimes, laying down too long can bring them on also! Good Luck and WELCOME! Hyugs, WTR Nymph
