I have DDD and Osteoporosis and nerve damage in my lower lumber thats shoots down into my lower legs. Walking is very hard and sitting is no better. The last doc I seen said that my discs have become hypertrophic I dont understand this and they do not explain a whole lot. Was sent to Ann Arbor and the doc there was very cold and said that he couldn't do anything for me. Hmm I think he just won't do anything. He looks at me as if I'm a law suit waitng to happen. All I really want is the chance to get better and maybe be myself again. It has been a long 6 yrs and There is no light at the end of my tunnel. All I want is some compassion from a doctor and they look at me so differently because I was in a work accident. No I did not sue or anything like that . All I asked was to please help me. Maybe if I go to the Cheif of staff at one of my local hospitals and speak with them,it might get me somewhere? Any help is better than none. My own doctor says that he can't make them do the fusion,and that he feels bad.Wishes he could do more. He keeps me in check with the meds and I refuse to do the pain clinic ever again.2 yrs of wasted time there. Sorry I'm going on and on.Thanks for letting me air.
